Oh, gentle spectators we pray you attend If you may have even a moment to spend Some blithe recreation is what we intend For we are the Cliar Cu Buidhe.
We’ve noble old ballads and sprightly wee ayres Our instrumentation is without compare Our beautiful dancers will make you all stare Oh, we are the Cliar Cu Buidhe.
Oh, there is no fee for these pastimes so fine Though we never say no to good ale or fine wine Or a pro-isso-ry spelled as you see on our sign To the C-L-I-A-R Cu Buidhe.
We’ve tales of adventure and the travails of war We’ve stories of love that will make your heart sore We’ve mummers and jugglers and puppets and more! Oh, come hear the Cliar Cu Buidhe!
Oh, gentle spectators our greetings we send To our entertainment we pray you attend You may come as a stranger, but you’ll leave as a friend Oh, this we do tell you truly For we are the Cliar Cu Buidhe.
